Whatever the reason, a well-publicized battle between the outgoing heads of MicroHelp and the buyer, Luckman Interactive, Inc., as well as heavy Wall Street and Canadian investment firms, resulted in not only the demise of the MicroHelp Visual Basic product line but also a black eye on the entire third-party market. Thankfully, Microsoft and better established Visual Basic control vendors rallied to assure developers and organizations that third-party controls, in general, are still sound investments. |

For better or worse, the companies that were brave enough to assume control of MicroHelp's products might not be responsive enough to your questions because they don't have quite the financial backing that MicroHelp once enjoyed.
